KIDS PROGRAMS

   At Shannon Martial Arts, we are passionate about helping children grow stronger, healthier, and more confident through movement, structure, and positive discipline. Our kids’ programs are designed to nurture both physical ability and personal character, giving children a solid foundation they can carry into all areas of life.

   Our programs include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and gymnastics, each carefully tailored to support children’s development in fun, engaging, and age-appropriate ways. Classes are led by experienced instructors who understand how children learn best, creating an environment that is welcoming, motivating, and respectful.

   Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches kids practical self-defense skills, problem-solving, and discipline, while also improving coordination, focus, and resilience. Through structured training and playful challenges, children learn how to stay calm under pressure, work through obstacles, and build confidence in their own abilities.

   Gymnastics complements this training by developing strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. These skills not only support athletic performance but also help improve posture, coordination, and overall movement, all within a safe and supportive setting that encourages progress at each child’s own pace.

   Together, these activities provide the perfect balance of fitness, skill-building, and personal growth. Children stay active, make new friends, and develop healthy habits while learning the value of consistency, respect, and perseverance.

   Most importantly, your child’s safety, enjoyment, and well-being are always our top priorities. We ensure every session is structured, supervised, and encouraging, so each child feels comfortable, supported, and excited to return. With the right guidance, kids not only grow physically stronger but also develop confidence, focus, and a positive mindset that will benefit them throughout life.

Kids and Teens Jiu-Jitsu

At Shannon Martial Arts Academy, we provide exciting and age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu classes for children and teens. Jiu-Jitsu is a fantastic way for young people to build strength, coordination, and confidence while learning practical self-defense skills.

Our classes promote discipline, focus, and respect in a safe and supportive environment. Through structured training, children not only improve their fitness and technique but also develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and a positive mindset that carries over into school and everyday life.

Kids Gymnastics

for kids 7-12 years old

At Shannon Martial Arts Academy, we offer fun and engaging gymnastics classes designed specifically for children aged 7 to 12.

Gymnastics is an excellent way for kids to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, all while staying active and healthy.

Our classes encourage focus, discipline, and confidence through structured training in a safe and supportive environment. Children not only improve their physical abilities but also build self-esteem, teamwork, and resilience—skills that benefit them far beyond the gym.
